Everton new CEO update emerges as net cast far and wide

Everton have cast their net far and wide in their quest to hire a new CEO, according to the Athletic.

The news outlet reported on 8 January that recruitment firm Nolan Partners are helping the club in their search to fill that vacancy.

The Friedkin Group have completed the takeover of the club and want the new chief executive to represent the owners in conversations with the fans and also make major sporting decisions.

Everton must take their time and make the right appointment

It is important that The Friedkin Group make the right appointment with regard to the new CEO.

The ideal candidate will not just shape the nature of the change of ownership but also set the tone for the future.

As the Toffees move to the new stadium under new owners, it is a new era and there is plenty of responsibility on the new CEO.

There is no need to rush with this appointment as the day-to-day affairs are going on smoothly and Kevin Thelwell will mainly be in charge of the transfer market and other sporting operations.

The Friedkin Group also have to make decisions on Sean Dyche and Thelwell’s future as there is a case to part ways with both of them and start afresh.

As things stand, it seems like they will give Dyche some time to prove he can fit into the new structure and take the team forward.

In other Everton news, Alan Myers has made a claim on the new owners and Sean Dyche after the loss against Bournemouth.
