Beto transfer non-negotiable amid Everton amid injury crisis
Beto might not be one of the first names on the teamsheet at the Merseyside outfit, but his continuity in the squad is crucial.
Armando Broja’s return from injury was meant to seemingly end the Guinean forward’s time at Goodison Park, but the Chelsea loanee is on the sidelines once again.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was also unavailable against Peterborough United, highlighting the importance of Beto in the first-team setup.
Everton can arguably do better than the former Udinese star in their ranks, but at this moment, he’s one of the few options they’ve got up front.
The 26-year-old has made 16 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
Youssef Chermiti is another number nine the Toffees haven’t been able to rely on due to his fitness issues, and unless reinforcements are bought in the winter transfer window, Beto should not be sold.
The Guinea-Bissau international can still play a massive role for the rest of the campaign as the Merseysiders look to avoid relegation.
