Brighton v Everton postponement latest after Met Office update
Brighton versus Everton has little chance of being postponed amid a new weather update from the Met Office.
Toffees fans are set to make the five-hour trip down to the Amex stadium ahead of their Premier League clash on Saturday (25 January) with weather warnings from Storm Eowyn popping up across the UK.
However, the Met Office has confirmed that Brighton will be greeted with cloudy skies despite there being yellow warnings for wind before the rain emerges at around 9pm.
David Moyes could do with another win at Everton
Last time out, Everton pulled of a fine victory by leaving Goodison Park with all three points after defeating Tottenham 3-2.
While the result doesn’t make the victory seem all that great, the two goals that Spurs clawed back were lucky as David Moyes’ men seemed to dominate Ange Postecoglou’s throughout the clash.
At the moment, the Merseyside outfit are teetering on the edge of a relegation battle as they currently sit 16th in the top-flight table.

By adding another three points to their points tally, Everton would be within one point of Spurs and would create an even bigger gap between themselves and the bottom three, which, at the end of the day, is all that fans could ask for.
Of course, there’s still plenty of time left for the Toffees to get themselves some important wins even if they don’t here but if they can get a victory over Brighton it could keep them on a decent run which is exactly what they need.
