Chelsea to accept £20m for Chilwell, Everton personal terms no issue
Everton are looking at a deal for Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell in the winter window, according to Caught Offside.
The online outlet reported on 23 January that the former England international has no future at Stamford Bridge so is eager to leave West London as soon as possible.
This has seen the Toffees show an interest in the left back who has been made available by the Blues for a fee in the region of £25million.
With that being said, a fee as low as £20m could be accepted by Enzo Maresca’s side with personal terms not expected to be an issue in January.
Everton eye move for Chelsea outcast Ben Chilwell
It could be said that David Moyes needs full-back options added to his squad at Goodison ahead of the second half of the season.
With Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young being regular starters under Sean Dyche, fresh faces may prove to be positive for the Toffees.
Chilwell could prove to be a useful addition given his experience in the Premier League with Chelsea despite things turning sour for him in recent years.
The 28-year-old has made just one appearance this season after featuring just 13 times in the Premier League last campaign under Mauricio Pochettino.

With that being said, £20m may prove to be a fee that is too steep for the Evertonians to pay, especially during the winter transfer window.
As a result, Moyes may be forced into putting his faith in Vitalii Mykolenko before reassessing defensive options when the summer window opens at the end of the season.
