Beto confronts David Moyes as new offer made in Everton transfer twist
Beto had another “confrontation” with David Moyes to inform him of his desire to leave Everton during the ongoing winter transfer window, according to Tuttosport.
The Italian newspaper reported via their website on 27 January that the striker is keen to leave Goodison Park after agreeing personal terms with Torino, while Moyes has also informed him that he can go.
Torino, therefore, resumed talks to sign the Guinea-Bissau international on Sunday (26 January) night, offering to pay £12.6million for him after initially signing him on loan.
The Toffees, though, are holding out for around £16.8m, although the transfer can be sealed for £15.1m in a loan-to-buy obligation agreement.
David Moyes to sanction Beto transfer at Everton
It is surprising to see that Moyes is ready to let Beto leave before the transfer window closes on 3 February despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin picking up an injury in the 1-0 win against Brighton on Saturday, 25 January.

Letting Beto go to Italy would put the Merseyside-based club short of options up front.
However, it appears Everton are drawing up plans to bring in a new number nine before the window slams shut next Monday, especially after Moyes informed of his desire to sign one.

Moyes, therefore, needs to be braced for a busy end to the transfer window as Everton can be expected to sign two players.
They are already one step away from signing Angelo Preciado from Sparta Prague for £5m.
