Everton could sign Danny Ings in last-gasp shock West Ham deal
Everton could sign Danny Ings from West Ham in a last-gasp January deal, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The newspaper reported on 28 January that the 32-year-old could be the “last resort option” for the Toffees with less than a week remaining in the window.
It is unclear whether the Hammers would be willing to part ways with the former Liverpool forward given their own striker problem at the London Stadium.
Everton could sign Danny Ings from West Ham
There is no doubt that fresh striking reinforcements are needed at Goodison after Armando Broja suffered yet another damming injury.
With the Chelsea loanee set to return to Stamford Bridge for his recovery, a replacement option could be needed for David Moyes.
This desire for a new forward is also impacted by the potential departures of both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto, with the latter linked with Torino most recently.
It is fair to say that the Toffees can’t afford to lose even one of that pairing without signing at least one new striker and that could prove to be Ings.

Regardless of his ties to Anfield, the former England international does have goalscoring pedigree in the Premier League despite struggling since leaving Southampton.
It would all depend on the fee that West Ham could demand for the ex-Aston Villa man but as a rotation option on Merseyside, Moyes and Co. could go further wrong than the experienced pro.
