Emerson ‘to clear medical’ as Everton eye transfer swoop
AC Milan defender Emerson Royal should have no issues clearing his Everton medical, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that while his game time has not been consistent, it should not impact the transfer, and his previous Premier League experience with Tottenham will also come in handy.
This comes after Gazzetta Dello Sport reported on 23 January that the Brazilian right-back spoke to his agents with the Toffees keen on the 26-year-old.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Emerson: “Game time is decent but not the consistent run of games you would like to see.
“However, not a deal breaker by any means and neither should it impact his medical.
“His past Premier League experience will certainly come in handy as he understands the demands of the league personally and therefore reduces injury risk.“
Emerson would be a decent option for Everton in this transfer window
The Brazil international has 79 Premier League appearances under his belt and knows the league inside out.
While he wasn’t among the most consistent of performers at Spurs, he has matured since his move to AC Milan and if there is a deal to be done for the right price, David Moyes would welcome it.

Time is running out so if the Toffees want to sign him, they’ve got to make a move quickly.
