Everton ‘yellow flag’: Doctor does virtual medical after Weah transfer approach
Everton may not be able to rely on Juventus winger Timothy Weah to be a regular starter if they do sign him, given his injury issues, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the United States international is someone who can offer an impact off the bench, but if the Toffees want some playing week in and week out, he may be the wrong option.
This comes after Calciomercato.it reported on 30 January that the Merseyside outfit had made an approach for the 24-year-old.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Weah: “He’s had multiple injuries this season including a potential repeat injury.
“But, looking at this season and his career, doesn’t have any major injuries.
“I would consider this more of a yellow flag and understanding he’s not a player you can rely on as a tagged-on starter but rather he will give you spurts of matches so if they want a regular starter, he might be the wrong option.“
Everton cannot gamble on Timothy Weah
If Weah has injury issues before moving to the Premier League, there is a chance that his fitness might worsen after the move.
That’s because the league is a robust and physical one and even the best of players get bullied from time to time.

The Toffees must sign someone who’s not had major fitness issues as David Moyes needs to be able to rely on all his options.
