Everton ‘to terminate Jack Harrison deal’ as multi-million transfer bid accepted
Everton could terminate the season-long loan of Jack Harrison if they are able to prise Tom Fellows to Goodison Park before the transfer deadline.
According to Alan Nixon (3 February), the Toffees have agreed a £10millon fee to sign West Bromwich Albion winger Fellows, 21, who has led the way for assists in the Championship this season.
It is believed however they now face “a race against time” to complete the deal for the England Under-21 star, who specialises on the right-hand side and would severely limit the game time of Harrison as serious competition arrives.
There has been some recent discourse surrounding the loans of both Harrison and striker Armando Broja, with it remaining unclear whether the pair will definitely stay at Goodison Park until the end of the campaign.
Everton could cull Harrison loan if Fellows signs
Everton underwhelmed certain sections of the fanbase in the summer when they signed Harrison on a second loan from Championship promotion contenders Leeds United.
The 28-year-old has started 12 of his 19 Premier League appearances this term but has failed to register a goal nor an assist, and has been one of several to frustrate Toffees fans when matters haven’t gone well.
Under the guidance of David Moyes, Harrison has played just three minutes across the past three games and was brought off after less than an hour in the returning manager’s first game back.
Fellows has been a revelation for West Brom this season, with the Baggies having recently changed their manager too – Tony Mowbray has replaced Carlos Corberan, who took the vacant role at Valencia over Christmas.

Harrison would be unlikely to even get in a rampant Leeds side in the second tier at present, while Fellows is the only player to have hit double figures for assists this campaign in the same division.
£10million would be a terrific bargain for Moyes’ men, as the race ticks on to get a prospective deal over the line.
