Everton could seal Tom Fellows transfer after Deadline Day twist

Everton did not make an offer for West Brom winger Tom Fellows on transfer deadline day, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reports (4 February) that the Toffees remain interested in the England youth international with a summer move now possible.

Alan Nixon stated on his Patreon on 3 February that the Blues had made a £10million bid for the 21-year-old, but such reports are claimed to be wide of the mark.

While the Baggies were reluctant to sell Fellows mid-season, he’s one to keep an eye on ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Everton to make Tom Fellows transfer move next summer

It will be interesting to see whether the Merseyside outfit goes through with their apparent interest and finally get a deal over the line for the England Under-21 international in the coming months.

The Friedkin Group (TFG) were seemingly hesitant to spend big money on reinforcements, but the new owners could arguably be looking at revolutionising the Toffees soon.

David Moyes has managed to squeeze quality out of every player in the squad since his return, and the three consecutive Premier League wins are a testament to his abilities.

Everton will definitely be looking to become a more attractive option for top players next season as they move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

TFG evidently have the financial might to opt for the big names next summer, but Fellows could also be one for the future.

The 21-year-old has provided 10 assists for West Brom this season in the Championship, the most in the league, but he may need to show even more.

Several other teams will also be involved in a potential transfer race, so the Merseysiders must be quick if they want to beat their competitors.
