Moyes ‘to run scared’ ahead of Crystal Palace v Everton after what Glasner said

David Moyes will be hoping to ensure that Everton continue their good run against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Toffees travel to Selhurst Park on 15 February, looking to build on their last-gasp equaliser against Liverpool last time out and move even further away from the Premier League relegation zone.

Recent history would suggest Oliver Glasner’s side should be trembling at the thought of facing this Blues team right now, having been unable to claim victory in the last eight meetings.

However, following the Palace boss’ most recent press conference, those fears might have just turned on Moyes and his players before kicking off against the Eagles on Saturday evening.

Oliver Glasner welcomes back Crystal Palace stars to face Everton

Speaking to the media, via Dom Smith’s X account [14 February], Glasner confirmed that Adam Wharton could make the starting lineup at Selhurst Park.

He continued to say: “Fortunately, there are no new issues and all three [Eze, Nketiah, Sarr] are back and available for tomorrow.”

Palace look to be back to full strength, and with only three points separating the two sides in the Premier League table, it could be quite the feisty affair in London.

David Moyes ready for another fight after Merseyside derby

Moyes’ team created the craziest of scenes at Goodison Park when James Tarkowski fired an equaliser past Alisson in the eighth minute of added time.

Though, given how big of an impact the Scot has had since replacing Sean Dyche, few fans were actually surprised their team could manage such a big moment against their bitter rivals.

Beto is finally firing on all cylinders, James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam have both returned from their respective injuries, and the Toffees now have 10 points from a possible 15 under Moyes.

Of course, Iliman Ndiaye joining Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja on the treatment table is incredibly bad luck, but there are members of the team who can step up and make their mark instead.

They will have a brilliant chance to prove that against the Eagles. If Glasner is not even slightly bluffing, there will be numerous stars to keep quiet at Selhurst Park.

Recent history on the Toffees’ side ahead of Saturday, but given Palace’s form, it could be anyone’s game when the two teams kick off at 5.30pm.
