Everton ‘conduct Bramley-Moore Dock review’ after test event scenes
Everton conducted the first test event at their new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium on Monday.
The ground was christened by a fixture between the Under-18s and Wigan Athletic on 17 February in which the Blues youngsters were beaten 2-1.
The result was not important, the significance was to identify issues and fix them before the move away from Goodison Park.
Issues such as transport links and parking were identified and now the Toffees can work with Liverpool City Council to ensure that the ground is ready to host a full contingent of fans.

Everton set to conduct review after Bramley Moore test
Everton are set to conduct a review of the first test event at the Bramley Moore Dock Stadium, according to Paul Joyce.
The report outlines that a second event is set to see 25,000 supporters attend and a final event before the end of the season should be nearer to the overall capacity of 52,888.
The Merseysiders should then be able to move into the new ground ahead of the 2025-2026 campaign as a new dawn for the club begins.

Everton set for exciting new era
The Blues are set for an exciting new era as they make the move from Goodison Park to the new stadium at the end of the season.
With the purse strings hopefully loosened by new revenue and less profit and sustainability concerns under the ownership of the Friedkin Group, the Toffees supporters can start to dream of success.
With David Moyes leading the team away from a relegation battle after Sean Dyche was dismissed, it feels like a poetic start to the new generation of Everton, one that brings plenty of promise.
PL Stats (24/25 season) | Dyche | Moyes |
Wins | 3 | 4 |
Draws | 8 | 1 |
Losses | 8 | 1 |
Goals for | 24 | 12 |
Goals against | 32 | 6 |
Points per game | 0.95 | 2.17 |
Each test event of the new stadium brings the actualisation of the move a step closer but also helps to identify any teething issues that may arise and get them fixed before the move next season.
Once they are sorted out, the Goodison Park outfit can put the pain of the last 30 years behind them and look forward to new successes that will surely come with fresh investment and a huge stadium.
