Mike Dean reacts to Everton controversy v Manchester United on Sky Sports
Mike Dean has shared his verdict as VAR controversy emerged yet again as Everton faced Manchester United at Goodison Park.
David Moyes was jubilant as the Toffees dominated early proceedings, going one goal ahead as Beto smashed home yet another goal.
VAR took minutes to green-light the goal after offside complaints against Beto and Jesper Lindstrom in the build-up, with the process not good enough again.

Everton controversy not good enough at Goodison Park
Harry Maguire was leading the complaints despite his defence having several chances to try clear the ball as the Guinea-Bissau star smashed home.
Speaking live on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday (22 February, 12:51), Dean immediately reacted to the footage of the goal and complaints that followed.
“It doesn’t look offside when the ball gets headed back in, the left back is coming out,” he said.
“He’s onside by a good yard, yard and a half.”

Manchester United desperate at Everton
There is nothing quite like seeing an opposition side lose their cool at Goodison Park, with Liverpool recently embarrassing themselves after that drama-packed 2-2 draw.
For some reason, it felt somewhat worse for Manchester United at first, who were meant to have the next best thing in Ruben Amorim, only for Moyes to continue showing him who is the boss.
Of course, the away side got back into things through late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte, but these are the big-money players lacking at Goodison.
West Ham must be wondering what has gone wrong, with Moyes proving his worth every single week by working wonders with this Everton squad.
Every player knows their job immaculately, something that the Red Devils could have done with when trying to defend, rather than just complaining as Beto scored.

Manchester United | 1 |
Crystal Palace | 1 |
Liverpool | 1 |
Leicester | 2 |
Everton were fighting relegation when Moyes arrived, and after Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja picked up injuries, there was little hope.
Step forward Beto, who has been immense in recent weeks and has a manager who plays to his strengths, something that Sean Dyche never did.
Even when Calvert-Lewin and Broja return, there will be no chance they start games immediately.
Everton are pushing back into the top half of the Premier League, the same competition that will now certainly be arriving at Bramley Moore Dock next season.
