Tony Bellew rages after Everton disgrace v Manchester United
Everton had to settle for a point in their home clash with Manchester United despite having a 1-0 lead at half-time.
Everton were forced to make do with a 2-2 draw against Man United, in a game that was full of controversial incidents and decisions.
Beto gave the Toffees the lead after a lengthy VAR check before Abdoulaye Doucoure doubled their advantage heading into the break.
However, a second-half comeback from the Red Devils saw Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes get Man United back on level terms, right before the biggest decision of the game was made.

Tony Bellew fuming at Everton penalty decision
Just as the game appeared to coming to an end, Everton had a very strong shout for a penalty when Ashley Young appeared to be dragged to the floor from behind, with no intentions to play the ball from Harry Maguire.
Andy Madley was advised to watch the incident again by VAR, though opted against awarding the penalty, leaving almost everyone in shock, perhaps no one more than Tony Bellew who took to X immediately to slam the decision.
His post (22 February) reads: “Typical at Goodison! The referee knows what he’s seen in real-time and then the powers that be tell him to change his mind and what does he do? He disgracefully robs us of a penalty that he gave! He was at it all day! Couldn’t do enough for them. Cheats.”
Everton have very right to feel hard done by for what appeared to be a clear foul in the penalty area that would have gifted them an opportunity to secure a massive three points.

Everton hard done by v Man United
Based on the performance, Everton were more than deserving of their point in the clash, though will feel as though they could have come away with all three.
Once again, Everton looked structured and stuck to their gameplan and made it a real difficult encounter for Man United who couldn’t get near them in the opening 45.
The draw keeps the Toffees above Man United in the table and realistically should see them safe from any threat of relegation with a 14-point gap now present.
Beto’s form continues to amaze at Everton and after another goalscoring performance, his importance to the side could not be any bigger.
Attention will now turn to a midweek encounter with Brentford for the Toffees who will take plenty away from their performance against the Red Devils.
