Moyes could axe Harrison from Everton role as touchline footage emerges
Jack Harrison has had a tough time of it in his second season on loan with Everton.
When Sean Dyche was in charge, the Englishman was often chosen over Jesper Lindstrom to fill the spot of right-wing in the Toffees’ starting XI.
However, since David Moyes has made the return to Goodison Park he’s been sidelined due to the resurgence in form from the Denmark international.
And, despite being reintegrated into the Toffees’ squad over the last couple of weeks, the on-loan ace has failed to make the most of the opportunities given to him.
Even though he was played in his preferred position of left-wing against Brentford, Harrison once again failed to live up to expectations.

Harrison may axed from set-piece duty after Moyes reaction
One of the most important aspects of Harrison’s game throughout his career has been his set-pieces.
At each club he’s played for, he’s been one of the main men on the corners, free kicks and sometimes penalties.
However, when he was handed set-piece duties for Everton’s game against the Bees, more often than not they fell well short of their intended target.

Dribble success rate | 33% |
Which, when set-pieces are a big part of your game, is a rather large cause for concern.
And, to make matters worse, Moyes’ reaction to the corners the Englishman took makes it seem like they could be the last that the Englishman takes at Goodison Park.

Everton cannot make Harrison’s stay permanent in the summer
There’s no denying that Moyes’ return to L4 has been one of the best moves made by a Premier League team this season.
However, if they want to keep up this level of form and continue on this upward path of trajectory, Harrison can’t be a part of those plans.
At the moment, the Englishman and Lindstrom are battling it out for a spot in the Scotsman’s starting XI.
But, because each of them are only on season-long loans with no obligations to buy, Everton may have to choose between the two regarding who they want to keep permanently.
The Toffees will be keen to avoid breaching the Premier League’s PSR rules again which is why Kevin Thelwell and co. were rather stringent with their spending in winter with the same potentially happening again in the summer.
But by no means can the player staying permanently be Harrison, especially with the recent form he’s shown.
