TFG can make ‘massive’ Everton statement with midfielder transfer
Everton have seen their form improve massively since the return of David Moyes to Goodison Park.
The Scotsman has lifted Everton from flirting with the relegation zone to now being 15 points clear of the bottom three.
After The Friedkin Group completed the takeover of the Toffees at the end of 2024, supporters will certainly be looking ahead to the future with more optimism.

Everton looking at bargain Christian Norgaard transfer
Although fans will be hoping for a more ambitious summer window, Kevin Thelwell has urged Everton supporters to keep their expectations measured with the transfer window needing to be a cautious one.
With that in mind, securing free agents this term could be vital business for the Blues, allowing them to secure players that are good enough but on a cheap deal.
According to TBR Football, one name that fits that criteria is target Christain Norgaard who sees his Brentford contract expire at the end of the current campaign.
The news outlet claims that Moyes‘ side are looking to make a move for the Denmark international.
However, his current club Brentford are also said to be ready to open talks with the midfielder over signing a new deal at the GTech Community Stadium.

Everton can make serious statement with Norgaard signing
While the Toffees may find themselves in a number of financial transfer battles this summer, there is an opportunity to make a massive statement even in this battle.
Brentford have established themselves as a top-flight side and currently sit 11th in the table, just six points from the top six meaning it could be an exciting time ahead for the Bees.
Team | Position | Played | Won | Drawn | Lost | Goals for | Goals against | Goal difference | Points |
Everton | 16 | 27 | 7 | 11 | 9 | 30 | 34 | -4 | 32 |
Brentford | 11 | 27 | 11 | 5 | 11 | 48 | 43 | 5 | 38 |
However, similarly, Moyes has completely rejuvenated the Toffees and with financial restrictions lifted, they will no doubt be looking much further up the table next term with some ambitious aims.
Given Norgaard is out of contract, signing him on a free transfer in a season where he has made 23 games scoring three goals and contributing two assists, could be a great addition.
Furthermore, if Moyes can sell his side to prize the 30-year-old away from a new deal at his current club, that will surely set a precedent at Bramley-Moor Dock that a new era is underway in Merseyside making it a project worth joining.
