Everton transfers: Jack Harrison in talks over deal as financial complications revealed
Jack Harrison is at a crossroads in his career as his loan deal at Everton runs out at the end of the season.
Harrison is due to return to Leeds United when his agreement with the Toffees expires this summer, but he is still in the dark about where his future lies.
The possibility of making his move to Merseyside permanent on the back of a two-year loan stint is certainly there, while he could also go back into the fold at Elland Road if the Whites earn promotion.
However, the 28-year-old has not done himself any favours by failing to register a single goal or assist despite making 27 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees this season.
Harrison unlikely to join Everton permanently
This is why Harrison is unlikely to make his move to Everton permanent when the summer comes around, according to YEP.
The newspaper reported via their website on 4 March that he is even more unlikely to have a place in Leeds’ plans next season whether or not they are in the Premier League.

With those two doors slamming shut, a return to the United States has emerged as an option for the left-footed winger.
There have not been any official approaches made or talks held to sign Harrison, but he has had exploratory conversations with representatives of MLS clubs ahead of the summer.
Leeds to sell Harrison for a fee
However, a move to the MLS would come with complications as clubs there would struggle to finance a deal for a player who has played five consecutive seasons in the Premier League.
Leeds, for their part, will want a substantial transfer fee for the former Manchester City ace as he is contracted to them for three more years until 2028.
Therefore, it remains to be seen if the tentative discussions will materialise into something substantial in the coming months.
