Everton ‘have Armando Broja replacement ready’ after Mika Biereth development

Everton may need new attackers in the upcoming transfer window after Armando Broja returns to Chelsea, and have Mika Biereth on their radar.

The Toffees signed the Albania international last summer from the West London outfit, but he’s suffered with fitness issues this season.

Injuries have marred Broja’s time at Goodison Park, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Merseyside outfit opt against triggering his £30million buy option.

The Friedkin Group’s (TFG’s) decision to appoint David Moyes has paid off, and the Scotsman will surely want the Americans to back him next summer.

Biereth attracting interest from Everton

AS Monaco striker Biereth is attracting interest from the Toffees ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The news outlet reports (18 April) that the Blues have their eyes on the 22-year-old centre-forward, with Broja considered too expensive.

It’s been claimed that the Denmark international, who joined the Ligue 1 outfit for £13m in the winter transfer window, has emerged as a target for the Merseyside outfit.

Biereth’s current contract at the French club expires in 2029, but Moyes’ team will push for his signing in the coming months.

Moyes needs new striker transfer at Bramley-Moore Dock

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s current contract at Goodison Park expires at the end of the season, and the Toffees could lose him soon.

The Englishman has been the Blues’ first-choice striker over the years, but his consistent fitness issues have been frustrating for fans.

Youssef Chermiti is another number nine the supporters have hardly seen in action in the current campaign, as he’s spent most of his time on the sidelines.

Moyes will arguably want TFG to invest heavily at Everton as they start a new era at Bramley-Moore Dock in the coming months.

Beto has been relied on by the Scottish manager since replacing Sean Dyche, but the Guinea-Bissau forward’s goals have dried up in recent matches.

The Toffees will undoubtedly need a reliable number nine to make further progress next season, and who they’ll end up signing remains to be seen.

Biereth is still young, but has shown the extent of his talent at Monaco, scoring three hat-tricks already in Ligue 1, and the Blues should do everything in their power to make the deal happen.
