Everton star who ‘came from nowhere’ shocks live on talkSPORT in Moyes admission
David Moyes has done an exceptional job of getting the best out of his Everton squad on the road to Premier League safety.
Everton feared relegation under Sean Dyche at the start of the year, but now find themselves sitting 13th in the Premier League above Manchester United and Tottenham.
The Toffees are just two points away from confirming their place in the top flight next season, but those at Goodison Park are only looking upwards.
As Moyes and Co. prepare to move to their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, there is a real sense of positivity around the Merseyside-based club after fearing relegation for years.

Everton star excels under Moyes
While players looked demotivated under Dyche and his pragmatic playing style, Moyes has managed to keep them on their toes.
Jake O’Brien has gone from being left on the periphery of the squad to a regular starter under the Scot, while Idrissa Gueye is replicating performances from his best days despite being 35.
Beto is another player who has excelled under Moyes. The Guinea-Bissau international looked destined to leave in the winter transfer window, but has bagged five Premier League goals since January.

Reacting to Everton’s resurgence following the veteran manager’s return, Dean Saunders expressed his surprise at how Beto ‘came from nowhere’ to help the Toffees steer clear of the relegation zone.
“He [Moyes] stuck Beto in the team, didn’t he?”, Saunders said on talkSPORT (19 April, 8:35 am).
“[Dominic] Calvert-Lewin can’t stay fit, and Sean Dyche was trying to get him in the team.
“Beto came from nowhere, scored a few goals, crucial goals that got them the points [since] David Moyes has gone in.”

Moyes needs upgrade on Beto
While Beto deserves credit for helping Everton move away from the danger zone, there is no denying that the Goodison Park outfit need a new striker.
It is worth noting that the 27-year-old has not found the back of the net in the Premier League since scoring in the Toffees’ 2-2 draw against Manchester United at home on 22 February.
This means the centre-forward has gone six league games without scoring a goal.
Calvert-Lewin will leave the Blues on a free transfer at the end of the season as things stand, while Armando Broja is expected to return to Chelsea when his loan deal runs out.
It would not be a bad idea for Moyes to also cash in on Beto and bring in a new, reliable striker instead.
