Everton cause issues as they push to seal David Hancko transfer
Everton have set their sights on Feyenoord defender David Hancko, as they look to enjoy a successful first season at Bramley-Moore Dock next term.
The Toffees have established strong form in the Premier League since David Moyes’ return to Merseyside, despite Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
After previously worrying about relegation under former boss Sean Dyche, the Blues are now safe from the drop with five games remaining thanks to Moyes’ stewardship.
Everton must now enjoy a successful summer transfer window as they look to potentially challenge for Europe next season under the Friedkins.

Everton battle Juventus for Hancko’s signature
The Toffees are not alone in their interest in Hancko, and face competition from Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Tuttomercatoweb [22 April], the competition for Hancko’s services is a problem for Juventus, while Everton could build their defence around the 27-year-old.
The Slovakia international is a versatile defender who can play as a left-back or centre-back and can operate in a back three or four.

Hancko could be a strong signing for Everton
Ahead of their move to Bramley-Moore Dock, Everton could be an attractive destination this summer for the likes of Hancko, who may be keen to move to the Premier League for the first time in his career.
Thanks to Moyes, the Toffees have put their relegation fears well and truly behind them, and may be able to trouble the European places as soon as next term.

If the Blues can beat the likes of Juventus to Hancko’s signature, the Slovakia international could prove himself to be a top addition for the Merseyside outfit.
The 27-year-old has made 135 appearances for Feyenoord, establishing a reputation as one of the most talented defenders in the Dutch top-flight.
He won the Eredivisie title in 2023, when Feyenoord were under the stewardship of Liverpool boss Arne Slot.
But Hancko, who played for Slovakia against England in the last 16 of last summer’s Euros, could look to get the better of Slot in next season’s Merseyside derbies if he signs for Everton.
