Wolves eye Calvert-Lewin transfer as Everton exit update drops
Everton are likely to part ways with striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer transfer window, and he is already attracting suitors.
Calvert-Lewin has struggled for fitness in recent years, and is out of contract with The Toffees at the end of this season.
Everton could be in the market for another striker, and Calvert-Lewin’s departure would free up space on the wage bill to facilitate this.
However, it now appears that the centre-forward could be headed to a Premier League rival once his contract at Goodison Park expires.

Calvert-Lewin linked with Wolves
Calvert-Lewin is now attracting interest within the Premier League, and Wolves are among the clubs reportedly keen on signing him.
Wolves have been neck-and-neck with Everton this season, and just three points separate the two sides, who have both seen a resurgence in form after changing managers this season.

It has now been reported by Caught Offside that Wolves, as well as West Ham and Newcastle United, are all monitoring Calvert-Lewin’s situation with regard to a potential move.
It is claimed that David Moyes still holds the striker in “high regard” despite falling down the pecking order, and nothing is confirmed in terms of an exit.

Everton should let go of Calvert-Lewin this summer
Calvert-Lewin is one of Everton’s highest earners, with a salary of £100k per week (Capology), and freeing this from the wage bill would be of massive benefit in the transfer market.
The 28-year-old has scored just three goals in 22 games this season, and Beto has usurped him as Everton’s starting striker.
Moyes and Everton would be best off letting Calvert-Lewin leave and bringing in a younger or more reliable replacement, despite the Englishman’s good service to the club.
Calvert-Lewin scored 71 goals in 269 games for The Toffees, but his time is now coming to an end with injuries hampering his progress in recent years.
The striker still provides a lot of threat in the air, and Wolves may now want him to compete with Jorgen Strand Larsen, with West Ham and Newcastle also potentially viewing him as a backup attacker rather than a starting option.
