Liam Delap ‘should have been sent off’ after footage in Everton v Ipswich
Everton were left disappointed after being pegged back to draw against Ipswich on Saturday.
In the last traditional Saturday afternoon fixture at Goodison Park, the Toffees raced into a two-goal lead through Beto and Dwight McNeil.
Despite that, goals from Julio Enciso and George Hirst confirmed a 2-2 draw for David Moyes, who would have been watching Liam Delap closely.
Moyes would love to sign the striker, who is set to leave Ipswich.

Delap should have been sent off at Goodison
Keith Hackett has insisted that the striker should have been given two yellows after an eventual few minutes in the first half at Goodison.
The ex-FIFA referee and PGMOL chief believes a challenge on Jarrad Branthwaite should have resulted in another booking after he was cautioned for a scuffle with Jake O’Brien moments earlier.
After rewatching footage of the incidents, Hackett said: “He should have received a second yellow card for a reckless challenge, followed by red.”

Everton fans would love Delap signing
With the England youth international having a relegation release clause, the door is open for all Premier League clubs to get stuck in to his possible signing.
£30million would get a deal done, but the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the running, so it could be a difficult signing to complete.
Whether Moyes was watching on and would have wanted more from a striker at Goodison Park is yet to be seen, but playing in a relegated side, it’s not easy.

Beto is the striker who has proven himself the most at Everton this season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armando Broja, and Youssef Chermiti all blasted by injuries.
The latter three could all be moving on this summer, so reinforcements will be critical for Moyes and the Friedkin Group, moving into Bramley-Moore Dock.
Premier League survival is already secured, so Everton could have a head start on their rivals around them, who are still fighting in Europe.
Delap can count himself lucky on Saturday, but it may not be long until he is in blue again on Merseyside.
