Everton star responds to Donnarumma message as PSG beat Arsenal
Gianluigi Donnarumma has received a message of support from one Everton player after Paris Saint-Germain knocked Arsenal out of the UEFA Champions League.
The Toffees have not won since their 1-0 Premier League victory against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on 12 April, which came thanks to Abdoulaye Doucoure’s late winner.
David Moyes’ men were left disappointed by their 2-2 Premier League draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday (3 May) after surrendering a 2-0 advantage at Goodison Park.
However, it is clear for all to see the improvement that Everton have made since Moyes’ return.
The 62-year-old will no doubt be keen to guide the Toffees back to Europe, but for now, they must watch on from the sidelines.

Asmir Begovic responds to Donnarumma’s message
PSG beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday (7 May) to secure a 3-1 victory on aggregate and book their spot in the Champions League final.
Goalkeeper Donnarumma put in a stunning performance for the French champions before posting on Instagram (7 May), “One. More. Game.”
Begovic commented, “Good luck, my friend!”
Everton could turn their form around against Fulham
When Moyes was first reappointed by the Toffees, he was tasked with keeping the Merseyside outfit in the Premier League, a test which he has passed with flying colours.
Everton’s form has taken a turn for the worse in recent weeks, as the Blues have managed just one win from their last 10 Premier League outings.
Opponent | Result |
Manchester City (H) | 0-2 L |
Chelsea (A) | 1-0 L |
Ipswich (H) | 2-2 D |
However, Moyes’ side proved their quality when they drew with second-place Arsenal at Goodison Park last month before beating Champions League hopefuls Nottingham Forest on away soil.
If the Toffees can produce their best football on Saturday (10 May), they should be able to overcome the challenge posed by Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Marco Silva’s men have lost three of their last four Premier League fixtures. Therefore, Everton should be eager to put on a show for supporters in their penultimate away match of the season.
