Everton transfer round-up: TFG ready shock bid as Ferguson update shared
Everton are yet to make a signing this summer despite the Toffees working hard behind the scenes.
The Freidkin Group have allocated £100million to Everton’s transfer budget for the summer, but are yet to get one of the many deals they have been working on over the line.
David Moyes will hope to change that when the transfer window reopens on Monday (16 June).
The Toffees are eagerly anticipating new arrivals, and Goodison News has provided a round-up of all the latest transfer updates from the past 24 hours.

Walter Benítez makes Everton transfer decision
Everton are scouring the market for a new goalkeeper following the departures of both Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia.
The two shot-stoppers were both released by the Toffees, and have left Moyes in need of at least one replacement to act as an understudy to Jordan Pickford.
Everton had targeted PSV Eindhoven’s Benítez, whose contract is due to expire with the Dutch champions this summer.
However, according to journalist Alan Nixon (13 June), the Argentina international is in favour of a move to Crystal Palace, sending the Toffees back to the drawing board.

Brighton open to permanent sale of Evan Ferguson to Everton
Everton’s main focus is on bringing in goal scorers after only registering a higher return (42) than the three relegated sides this season.
With Beto potentially departing this summer and Dominic Calvert-Lewin unlikely to extend his contract, Everton have doubled down on their search for a striker.
Evan Ferguson has been linked with a move to the Blues, and as reported by the Irish Times (12 June), could be allowed to leave on a permanent deal from Brighton this summer.

Brighton | 13 | 1 | 237′ |
The Seagulls had loaned the 20-year-old to West Ham during the winter transfer window in a bid to reignite the promise he showed previously, but are now open to offers for his departure.
Fred has emerged as a shock target for Everton
As reported by Turkish media outlet Sozcu (13 June), Moyes has prioritised the signing of Fred, with The Friedkin Group preparing a shock £15.3million bid.
The former Manchester United midfielder has spent his last two seasons with Fenerbahçe under Jose Mourinho, but could be in line for a return to the Premier League.
The 32-year-old would replace the outgoing Abdoulaye Doucoure and would bring a wealth of experience to the Merseyside club as they attempt to carry their momentum into the 2025/26 campaign.
