Everton ‘ready to sign Omari Hutchinson’ as bigger clubs lurk around Ipswich
Everton are targeting players of various profiles as they aim to cement their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
Marquee signings have been a key talking point, with Manchester City pair Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker among those linked.
Elsewhere, it has been shared that the Toffees want to sign younger players to give the North West club a fresh boost under David Moyes.
One player who is attracting interest is Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson, who suffered Premier League relegation last season.

Hutchinson is target for Everton and other Premier League clubs
Eveton snubbed a loan move for Hutchinson during his Chelsea days back in the 2023 winter window.
However, that link has not gone away, and it was reported earlier in this window that David Moyes’ side are interested in Hutchinson.
The attacking midfielder provided the Tractor Boys with five goal contributions in the Premier League last season, and he has interest despite not setting the world alight.
Indeed, Hutchinson has bigger clubs lurking and is a target for Everton, with Brentford, West Ham, and Fulham all monitoring his progress, according to the Daily Mail (24 June).
Omari Hutchinson’s 2024/25 Premier League statistics | Total |
Appearances | 31 |
Goals | 3 |
Assists | 2 |
Touches | 45.1 |
Big chances created | 6 |
Accurate passes | 21.5 (84%) |
They claim that the 21-year-old is also being tracked by German giants Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, with the England Under-21 international valued at £30million, the same price as Liam Delap.
Furthermore, they state that Ipswich could be ready to listen to the highest bidder for the former Chelsea man, as they raise funds after relegation.

Where would Hutchinson fit in under Moyes?
Hutchinson predominantly played as an attacking midfielder last season, but can also play on either wing, shining at Portman Road.
Abdoulaye Doucoure occupied the central attacking-midfield position last term, but he is one of many to officially depart on June 30.
That means that the 21-year-old could slot straight into Moyes’ starting 11 in his place, with Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison also returning to their parent clubs.
Alternatively, Hutchinson could challenge the likes of Dwight McNeil on either wing, with limited options currently available in the final third.
Wherever he may play, Hutchinson has a high ceiling and would be a promising signing for Everton.
