Everton ‘must move for Hutchinson now’ after what’s happened away from Ipswich

Everton are looking to boost their attacking prowess this summer, with Omari Hutchinson being touted as a potential signing.

The winger joined Ipswich Town last season but was unable to prevent their relegation from the Premier League.

Despite this, the 21-year-old showed some great moments, as he looks to fulfil his potential.

Now, Everton have been linked with Hutchinson this summer as David Moyes looks to build on his successful return to the Toffees.

Hutchinson terrific for England Under-21s

As the transfer window rages on, Moyes will have one eye on the Under 21s European Championship this summer.

The semi-finals took place on Wednesday (25 June), with England overcoming the Netherlands 2-1 to reach the final.

Hutchinson was a key player in the match as he ran riot on the Dutch defence.

When assessing the players, Harry Sherlock via GOAL (25 June), rated the winger’s performance as an 8/10.

He then said: “Twinkle-toed down the left flank, always looking to drive at his marker, to the point that the Dutch made a substitution at right-back at half-time.

“Faded in the heat and was subbed for Jonathan Rowe, but a terrific display.”

After another impressive performance, Everton must surely now go all out to sign Hutchinson, who is valued at £30million by Ipswich Town.

Moyes is great at getting young stars to fulfil their potential, and the 21-year-old’s recent performance proved that he could go to the top.

If Everton remain slow to react, they could lose out to many of their Premier League rivals, especially if Hutchinson comes back with the trophy.

Everton cannot wait around this summer transfer window

With July now closing in, Everton have still only signed one player – Carlos Alcaraz.

This is simply unacceptable, with many teams in the Premier League strengthening around them.

This summer, Everton are arguably the most attractive they have been for years as they prepare to move into the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

It would simply be neglect by the Merseyside club if they do not take advantage of this to sign some top players.

Hopefully over the next couple of weeks, Moyes will start to make moves in the window.
