Everton make official announcement as defender signs two-year deal at Finch Farm
Everton are looking to strengthen their side in the summer transfer window to give David Moyes the best possible squad for next season.
In their first campaign at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Toffees will primarily want to avoid relegation and then potentially push for a top-half finish.
Thierno Barry has already joined Everton, but there is work going on behind the scenes to bring in new faces through the door.

Josh van Schoor signs first-ever professional contract at Finch Farm
Josh van Schoor, a left-back, has committed his future to the Toffees, signing a two-year contract.
This will be the teenager’s first-ever professional deal, with it expiring at the end of the 2026/27 season.
Having moved to the Merseyside outfit aged 10 from Wigan, the Englishman has come up the ranks in the academy.

He has also played on the wing last season, bringing much-needed versatility to the Under-18s side.
With this announcement, van Schoor joins George Finney, Aled Thomas, Luca Davis and Harvey Foster in signing their first-ever pro deals at the club.
Everton may look to loan out van Schoor
Everton may consider loaning out van Schoor to ensure his development, despite his recent two-year contract extension.
The 18-year-old left-back has yet to break into the first team consistently, facing competition from established players.
A loan move, similar to Eli Campbell’s successful stint at Ross County, could provide van Schoor with crucial senior-level experience in a competitive league.
His stamina and play-reading ability are strengths, but limited first-team opportunities may hinder his progress, making a loan ideal for gaining minutes and proving his potential.
It remains to be seen if there are any lower-league sides keen on securing his services.
