Everton target Atletico Mineiro defender Lyanco

Atletico Mineiro defender Lyanco has been identified as a target to boost Everton’s defence.

The former Southampton defender has enjoyed some spectacular form for his new side. Now, Moyes will do what he can to bring him back to England.

Lyanco could prove to be a useful understudy to James Tarkowski.

Toffees still in the hunt for Hamza Igamane

Rangers striker Hamza Igamane has been linked with Everton all summer, although the rumours had quietened down recently.

The Moroccan would add some much-needed firepower to Moyes’ squad.

Angus Kinnear locked in talks with Moyes after pre-season friendly

Everton fell to a defeat in a dreary pre-season friendly against Blackburn at the weekend.

Many fans suggested that both teams were way off the standard that they’ll need to be at the start of the season.

Moyes and CEO Angus Kinnear were seen talking for a long time after the game, hopefully about the improvements needed in the squad.

Everton have submitted a bid for Douglas Luiz

Douglas Luiz is a talented midfielder, but his club, Juventus, seem willing to sell him.

Reports suggest that Everton have made a bid, as well as West Ham, for Luiz, who Juventus value at £34million-plus.

There’s no guarantee that Luiz will come to Merseyside, though, and it is not clear how much either Premier League outfit is offering.
