Everton transfer round-up: Deal in principle agreed for defender as Victor Lindelof update drops
Everton are fast running out of time to conclude any late transfer business prior to the window closing on 1 September.
Backed by The Friedkin Group‘s finances, Everton have so far brought eight new first-team players to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The most recent of those arrivals saw Tyler Dibling join Everton this week, with two more signings said to be possible for David Moyes.
Players could also still yet depart ahead of what should be a busy conclusion to the summer transfer window.
Goodison News rounds up all the big transfer news surrounding Everton from the past 24 hours.

David Moyes faces ‘really unhelpful’ Everton transfer issue
Nathan Ake is another name mentioned with regards to a move to Everton, but those reports appear to be wide of the mark.
Reputable journalists were quick to shoot down the rumours, which football finance expert Dan Plumley insists will not be helpful for Everton as they go about their business.
“We know the football world, we know how it operates, we know things are going to get leaked,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“Sometimes they can come from all manner of resources, especially when you’re dealing with the transfer window.
“It’s just a lot of it is noise, isn’t it, but for a club, that’s really unhelpful, especially when you are trying to get the best deals done possible.“
Malick Fofana decides on his future after Everton submit big-money bid
Lyon winger Malick Fofana would be another player to get Everton supporters out of their seats, much like Jack Grealish.
Everton were reported to have tabled a £31.4million bid for Fofana, but Lyon have been playing hardball.
Now, according to Sky Sports Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Everton target Fofana will not be leaving Lyon this summer.

It is claimed that no clubs – not just Everton – could match Fofana’s ambitions.
Everton agree deal in principle for Nathan Patterson exit
Nathan Patterson looks the most likely first-team player to depart Merseyside this week.
The defender has endured a frustrating time of things and, according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas, a deal in principle has been agreed for Patterson to leave Everton for Sevilla on loan.
Patterson is said to be waiting on Sevilla to complete the sale of fellow right-back Juanlu Sanchez before putting pen to paper.
