‘Staggering’ Iliman Ndiaye offer emerges as money exceeds limits for Everton star

Iliman Ndiaye was the subject of a big-money bid this summer.

Everton cannot afford to lose Ndiaye; he is one of the best players at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, capable of producing magic moments.

Ndiaye arrived last summer from Marseille and was the Blues’ top goalscorer in the Premier League with nine goals in 33 appearances.

Everton would only have considered offers in excess of £100million for the Senegal star, but the one that they did receive was below that mark.

Iliman Ndiaye offer exceeds Inter Milan’s owner’s limits

Ndiaye was touted with an Everton exit, and Inter Milan reportedly had a bid rejected for him.

A report from Corriere dello Sport’s print edition on 4 September (page 7) claims that the figure of £40million that has been banded about is “staggering”.

It states that the reported bid for the 25-year-old exceeds the limits set by the Italian clubs’ owners, Oaktree Capital.

Everton will be relieved after Iliman Ndiaye update from Italy

The fact that the reported bid was above the owners’ limits suggests that the Serie A outfit will not return for Ndiaye in the winter window.

Moyes will not want to lose the former Sheffield United star, as he is a vital part of his team, and has proven that he is capable of stepping up when needed regularly.

The Scotsman will be relieved by the latest update, as the Blues cannot afford to lose Ndiaye and need to keep their best players, rather than selling them if they are to keep going up the table.

The trio of Ndiaye, Jack Grealish and Tyler Dibling will be a luxury for Moyes and should provide plenty of goal contributions this season.

If the Senegal ace were to depart, it would be a crushing blow and could define the Toffees’ campaign, whether they can qualify for Europe or end up in the bottom half of the division.

Thankfully, it appears as though he is going nowhere.
