Jack Grealish has already made thoughts on Aston Villa fans clear ahead of reunion with Everton
Jack Grealish will meet his former club when Everton play Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Everton beat Wolves 3-2 in their last game before the break, further strengthening their positive start to the season that has them sitting fifth in the league table.
Grealish broke an Everton assist record with his two set-ups at Molineux, becoming the first Toffee to ever provide two assists in consecutive Premier League matches.
The winger’s arrival, along with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, has proved transformative for David Moyes’ attack.
Grealish was nominated for Premier League player of the month, further underlining the impressive form he has shown since donning the Everton blue.

What Jack Grealish said after leaving Aston Villa
Grealish was snubbed for an England call-up, despite his sensational form so far this season.
It will not be long before the winger is amongst Thomas Tuchel’s favoured options if he continues to perform, however, and the visit of Villa will serve as another chance to prove the German wrong.
Grealish enjoys a deep connection with the Villans, having been born in Birmingham and spending the entirety of his early career in the youth system at Bodymoor Heath.
The 29-year-old became key as Villa Park once again enjoyed Premier League football, relishing two superb seasons in the top-flight before Manchester City paid £100million to sign the winger in 2021.

There were mixed reactions to the move from a Villa perspective, with some grateful for the huge fee Grealish had earned, whilst others were frustrated by the England international’s decision to leave.
The player himself has never wandered from his allegiances, however.
“Every time I put on the Villa shirt I played with my heart on my sleeve,” Grealish said, following the move.
“Being given the armband was both a privilege and an honour for me and my family and I have loved every minute.
“I’ll always be a Villa fan – I love this club with all my heart and I hope you understand my reasons for seeking a new challenge.”
Jack Grealish is yet to contribute against Villa since leaving
Grealish has appeared against his former club on four occasions since leaving in 2021.
Three of those appearances were from the start, but the winger is yet to register a goal or an assist against Villa.
Grealish will not celebrate if it happens on Saturday, but he will hope to finally put that record to bed by helping his new team to the win.
