Everton star becomes the first player in Toffees history to set terrible record after ‘shocking’ scenes vs West Ham
Everton played out a concerning 1-1 draw with West Ham on Monday.
The Toffees went 1-0 up thanks to Michael Keane, but a Jarrod Bowen equaliser in the second half ensured the points were shared.
As a result, the Toffees are now winless in their last four matches in all competitions, as their form continues to decline.
Multiple Everton players were criticised for their performance against West Ham, with an awful record now being set.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall the first Everton star to be booked in five consecutive Premier League matches
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had little luck against West Ham. Despite being a creative spark for the hosts, he was unable to pick up a goal contribution.
At the end of the match, the midfielder was also at the centre of some controversial scenes.
Dewsbury-Hall picked up a yellow card against West Ham, meaning he will now be suspended for the Crystal Palace game due to picking up five bookings this season.
- The Premier League issues a one-match ban for any player who accumulates five yellow cards in the first half of the season
- Dewsbury-Hall met this threshold on Monday
- As a result, the midfielder is set to miss Everton’s clash against Crystal Palace on Sunday
The referee’s decision was highly controversial, with Everton commentator Phil Munns labelling the Dewsbury-Hall booking as “shocking”.
Nevertheless, the suspension and the card will stand, with the midfielder now setting an awful record.
According to EFC Statto on 30 September, the former Chelsea star is the first Everton player to be booked in five consecutive Premier League matches.

Therefore, even though the yellow card was controversial, it has still led to this awful record.
Dewsbury-Hall has no one to blame but himself for Everton suspension
While the yellow card against West Ham was laughable, the midfielder still put himself in an awful position in the Premier League to avoid a suspension.
Four yellow cards in four matches is scandalous, and it was inevitable that the 27-year-old would be booked again at some point.
Therefore, Dewsbury-Hall has no one to blame but himself for the suspension, thanks to his silly fouls early in his Toffees career.
Hopefully, Everton will not miss him massively in their impending match against Crystal Palace.
