James Tarkowski has officially extended his Everton contract until 2028.

Tarkowski scored a stoppage-time goal against Liverpool at Goodison Park, establishing himself as a legend at the Toffees.
It was the final Merseyside derby at the Grand Old Lady on 12 February 2025, and the 32-year-old made sure it ended in a 2-2 draw with a brilliant strike in the 98th minute.

Tarkowski was definitely Man of the Match as the Blues beat Brentford 3-1 in the Premier League on 23 September 2023.
The centre-back scored the second goal for the Merseyside outfit in the fixture, giving them the lead, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin eventually got the third.

With Arsenal leading the English top flight on 4 February 2023, Tarkowski ensured they went back without any points from Goodison Park.

Tarkowski was magnificent against Crystal Palace on 5 October and was arguably the best player on the pitch.
The Toffees completed a comeback in the second half, and the English defender played a pivotal role in the game ending 2-1.
