Jordan Pickford is happy to retire at Everton

Pickford is rumoured to be signing a new Everton contract, which will see the Toffees’ number one stay at the club for the long term.

Writing for Everton News, experienced journalist Alan Myers claims Jordan would be willing to retire at Everton.

“Jordan Pickford will join James Tarkowski in signing a new deal at the club this week as the England number one is expected to commit his long term future at Everton.

In terms of the length of contract, one which will see him end his career at Everton would be the ideal scenario – something which from what I hear is something he’d be happy to do.”

Pickford has received plenty of praise over the years, along with his fair share of criticism too.

However, Everton fans have perhaps overlooked just how good the shot-stopper has already been this campaign, as his importance to the team cannot be questioned.
