Manchester City vs Everton: Weather forecast, ticket information, travel guide

Everton face a daunting trip to Manchester City upon their return to Premier League action this coming weekend.

A number of Everton players have been on international duty since the Toffees were last in action on 5 October.

That was a brilliant 2-1 win over Crystal Palace for Everton, which leaves David Moyes’ men sitting eighth in the Premier League.

Weather forecast for Manchester this weekend

Storm Amy battered the United Kingdom the last time Everton were in action, but thankfully it did not lead to the Palace game being postponed.

The weather looks a lot calmer for Saturday’s match as, according to the Met Office as of 14 October, there will be sunny intervals in Manchester around the time of kick-off.

No rain is forecast all day, and there will be highs of 13°C, making it a pleasant autumn afternoon at the Etihad Stadium. The UV and pollution levels are also set to be low.

Ticket information for Man City vs Everton

Everton will be the underdogs when they face Man City, but it is worth remembering they claimed a point from this fixture last season.

And Evertonians did not take long to snap up every available ticket for the away end, with the Toffees taking up the full allocation.

It was announced on 19 September that the away tickets had fully sold out.

Travel guide for Etihad Stadium

Everton are laying on coach travel for the match, priced at £24, with a 12pm departure time on Saturday for the 32-mile journey.

Those making their own way to the ground, the Etihad Stadium is easily accessibly by all modes of transport.

For those wanting to park, it must be pre-booked. However, this is on a first-come, first-served basis and is usually snapped up by Man City fans in advance.

There are various carparks, the postcodes for which can be found below.

The Etihad Campus is not directly accessible via train. The nearest train station is Ashburys Rail Station, which is just five minutes away from Manchester Piccadilly Station on the train.

It takes around 35 minutes to walk from the city centre to the stadium, meanwhile, and there is also a nearby tram stop that connects the Etihad with wider parts of Manchester, making it a popular option on matchdays.
