Everton able to strike stunning cut-price Jack Grealish deal as fresh Man City stance mooted
Everton could be about to see their hopes of landing Jack Grealish on a permanent deal.
The England international has excelled so far during his loan spell at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and has quickly become an integral part of the Toffees’ team.
Grealish was unavailable for Everton for Saturday’s trip to face Manchester City, and his presence was sorely missed as his parent club eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory.
The Merseysiders have fallen totally head over heels for the winger, but a permanent deal has always felt out of reach for David Moyes and Co., although that could be about to change.

Everton may be able to sign Jack Grealish for an initial £35m
Everton’s hopes of signing Grealish were dealt a blow by Pep Guardiola recently, when he hinted that he may want the 30-year-old back if his eye-catching performances continue.
The former Aston Villa star has quickly got back to his best this term, and already has five goal contributions to his name from just seven appearances.
The Toffees have the option to buy the wideman for a fee of £50million at the end of the season, but it is widely regarded that they would not be able to afford such a significant figure.
However, ex-Everton scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes that it may not be totally out of the question for City to accept a smaller fee, given Grealish’s sizeable wages.
“They (Everton) should be looking at Grealish,” King said.
“But it’s whether the £50m would be the final figure. It’s alright City saying they want £50m for him, but I think at the end of the day, when the package is done, everything might add up to £50m, but the fee itself might only be £35m or £40m.
“He’s still a big player to take off City’s wage bill. He still has a couple of years left on his deal, so that in itself would be a lot of money to save.

“If you sign a £100m player, then he’s got to be on £200,000 a week at a minimum.”

Jack Grealish would be worth every penny of £50m deal
The constraints facing Everton in regards to a potential Grealish deal are totally understandable, but he has already shown the transformative impact that he can have on a team.
The Toffees spent substantial money on the likes of Thierno Barry and Tyler Dibling in the summer, who both need plenty of time to develop, but Grealish is in a totally different bracket of player.
The Englishman virtually guarantees productivity in the Premier League, and for all the promise of their long-term investments, Everton also need players who can produce continuously in the here and now.
A permanent move for Grealish may derail their other plans for the summer transfer window, but it’s certainly hard to argue that it wouldn’t be worth it.
