Everton have the perfect Jack Grealish understudy lying in wait at Finch Farm
Braiden Graham could be the next big thing for Everton.
Everton are lucky to have Jack Grealish, but David Moyes will also want to promote more youth talent that is at Finch Farm.
Jarrad Branthwaite has been a great success for Everton and has proved to be one of the Toffees’ greatest youth products.
However, there has been a lack of talent coming through the ranks, and there wasn’t a single homegrown product on Everton’s squad vs Fulham on Saturday.
That could all change after the recent developments involving Graham‘s sensational performances.
Braiden Graham is on fire for Everton’s U21s
Graham, still only 18, is a versatile attacker who represents Northern Ireland.
He is a speedy winger who predominantly plays on the left flank, but can play central attacking midfield, just like Grealish.
Graham is highly rated at Everton, and his recent display against West Brom in Division 1 of the Premier League 2 on Friday proved that he’s ready to at least make Moyes’ bench.

Graham signed his first professional Everton contract in 2024, which runs until the summer of 2027, and will be hoping to gain his first senior minutes soon.
Now that Moyes has had experience with someone of Grealish’s calibre, he can try to get the best out of Graham too.

Graham will benefit from Jack Grealish at Finch Farm
There’s no guarantee that Everton will sign Grealish, which makes it even more important that Moyes keeps monitoring Graham.
Some of the under-21s are selected to train with Everton’s first team each week, and if Graham is being called up, there is only one sensible thing for the head coach to do.
Moyes needs to sit Graham down and make him study Grealish’s ways of playing the game, as the starlet will not benefit from anyone better in his career.
If, for whatever reason, Grealish does not stay at Everton, the Blues may have the perfect understudy in Graham.
Moyes cannot afford to miss the massive opportunity in front of him with Graham.
