David Moyes will be licking his lips after what Francis Okoronkwo has done
Everton gem Francis Okoronkwo will have David Moyes on notice after his latest exploits away from Finch Farm.
Okoronkwo joined Lincoln City on loan from Everton in the summer, and notched his first league goal of the campaign on 15 November.
The Everton loanee has played 10 times in League One, with just two starts, and finally opened his account in the 2-1 win against Doncaster Rovers.
Given the struggles that David Moyes‘ side have had when it comes to their strikers, the 21-year-old may prove to be an option next season.

Okoronkwo finally starting to find his feet away from Everton
Okoronkwo bagged his second goal in two matches, after scoring in the EFL Trophy win over Barnsley on 11 November.
The young attacker signed for the Blues in a £1million deal from Sunderland in 2021, but he has not made a senior appearance for the Toffees.
Moyes will be licking his lips at the prospect of the striker finally finding his feet and potentially scoring regularly.
How far is Okoronkwo from senior Everton role?
Okoronkwo has been unable to break into the first-team fold in his time with the Blues, under Rafa Benitez, Frank Lampard, Sean Dyche or David Moyes.
That suggests that he may not be seen as ready for a senior role with the Toffees, as he has never been handed a chance.
- Okoronkwo has made 65 appearances for the Under-18s and Under-21s, with 20 goals
- He is yet to get on the pitch at the senior level
- He has been included in matchday squads
Given his recent goalscoring streak, supporters will perhaps be excited about the prospect of him linking up with Moyes’ squad again.
However, he will likely remain with the Imps for the remainder of the campaign, as it makes little sense to recall him from his time at Sincil Bank.
If he keeps up his recent form, he may find himself in with a chance of breaking into the squad next season, but he seems to be running out of time to do so, as his Blues contract expires this summer.
The Merseysiders have to option to extend that by a year, though, so if he maintains his current level, then he may be an asset for Moyes and Co.
