‘David Moyes can’t believe his eyes with what happened in Everton vs Newcastle, it’s just incredible’
Everton somehow tasted defeat against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Newcastle secured a 4-1 win over Everton and picked up their first away win in nearly two months in the process.
The Toffees have tasted Hill Dickinson Stadium defeat for just the second time after Tottenham beat Everton 3-0 in late October.
Jack Grealish and David Moyes clashed against Newcastle, such was the frustration surrounding the Blues and their performance against Eddie Howe’s men.
Moyes cut a completely bewildered figure throughout the outing on Merseyside and could barely believe his eyes as the first half ebbed away.

David Moyes couldn’t believe Everton vs Newcastle scoreline
Richard Keys was laughing at Everton at half-time, as no one quite understood what had happened in L4.
The Toffees didn’t create any chances of note or bring a save out of Aaron Ramsdale, but were still the better side in the opening 45.
That didn’t reflect on the scoreline as Nick Woltemade lifted the ball over Jordan Pickford to hand the away side a 3-0 lead.
The Magpies went on to make it four in the second half as the game got away from the hosts, but that doesn’t change the feeling around the Hill Dickinson.
Speaking live on USA Network, Graeme Le Saux echoed the confusion of Moyes and the Blues faithful after the Germany international made it three.
He said: “Everton fans and the Everton coaching staff can’t believe what they’re seeing. They’ve dominated the first half, but they’ve been completely undone by three instances.

“Woltemade has a huge amount to do, but the deftness of touch, he just scoops it over the onrushing keeper. What a delightful finish.
“David Moyes, seeing his team 3-0 down, after what has been a decent half for Everton, is just incredible.“
Everton just weren’t good enough against Newcastle United
Moyes will be bewildered as to how his side were 3-0 down at the break despite having the better of the ball on Merseyside.
The Scot and his players have been dealt the biggest lesson in creating and taking your chances, rather than keeping possession for possession’s sake.
The likes of Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye were hugely quiet and didn’t look like truly making anything happen throughout their 80 minutes on the pitch.

Newcastle showed everyone in blue exactly how to be clinical and make things happen, rather than just hoping for something to fall your way.
Everton weren’t good enough and didn’t create, while the Magpies put in the perfect away performance.
Crazy for a side that had won just one away game since April.
