Marco Silva drops new Antonee Robinson update as Everton line up £25m deal
Everton could now take a step closer to landing Fulham ace Antonee Robinson ahead of the January window.
Adam Aznou signed for Everton in the summer but has yet to earn the trust of David Moyes since his switch from Bayern Munich.
The Toffees now have Vitalii Mykolenko as the only senior left-back at Everton in an area of squad depth concern at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
That has seen Everton be linked with Antonee Robinson, even with the USA international being out through injury at Craven Cottage.
Former Goodison boss Marco Silva has now spoken out about Robinson as the winter transfer window looms.

Silva faced issues at Everton, which ultimately led to his sacking and replacement by Duncan Ferguson, then Carlo Ancelotti.
The Portuguese head coach has been successful with the Cottagers, taking them from the Championship to a mid-table Premier League side.
The 48-year-old has struggled at times this campaign, with his side sitting 15th, but has benefited from back-to-back wins against Tottenham and Sunderland.
Fulham are now set for another boost with the return of Robinson, as his two-month absence with a knee injury looks set to end.

Silva confirmed the news in his press conference on 2 December, he said: “We are positive that when he [Robinson] is back, it will not be with setbacks, because we need him and he can be a very good ‘signing’ for us in the second half of the season.”
Although the ex-Watford boss may see this as a boost to his side, Moyes may be watching on with delight ahead of the January window.
Everton could sign best version of Robinson
The former Wigan man has been consistent as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League over recent years.
His absence has been felt at Fulham, but may be seen as a wake-up call for the Cottagers as to how much they rely on the defender.
With him returning from injury, the London club may assess his condition and may be willing to cash in and invest the funds throughout their squad.
Moyes will be happy to see Robinson back from injury, giving him upwards of a month to build up match sharpness before a potential Merseyside return.
The Toffees could make the American their marquee signing of the summer with the ball now in Fulham’s court ahead of the winter window.
