Everton’s last Christmas Day fixture was followed by 5-1 victory against the same team on Boxing Day
Everton will be hoping for a joyous Christmas period with lots of matches to look forward to over the holidays.
Last time out in the Premier League, Everton were narrowly beaten 1-0 by table-topping Arsenal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in a very controversial affair.
The Toffees do not have a Boxing Day fixture this year, but Everton are playing Burnley at Turf Moor on 27 December.
David Moyes has shared an injury update ahead of the clash, as those Bluenoses who celebrate can sit back and relax this Christmas before an exciting batch of fixtures.

Everton played Bolton on Christmas and Boxing Day in 1957
There are still Premier League matches going ahead on Boxing Day, but the Blues will have to wait until next year for a potential return to action on the traditional date.
There may be a worry from an Everton perspective that some star players will take it too far on Christmas Day, given the extra day off.
However, not all Everton players have had the luxury of both these dates off in the past.
