Man City and Everton to sign off on ‘very good’ permanent Jack Grealish transfer as fee revealed
Jack Grealish’s immediate future is a constant talking point around Everton.
Everton signed Grealish on loan from Manchester City in the summer, and despite a recent dip, he has been brilliant at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Initially, it was suggested that Everton would need to pay £50million to make Grealish’s move permanent, with City looking to recoup at least half of the massive fee paid to sign him initially.
However, David Moyes will be delighted with the latest update.
Everton to seal bargain Jack Grealish transfer
Everton are in pole position to sign Grealish for £30m now, with the price tumbling.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dan Plumley believes that would be a “very good” deal given the value of certain players in the current market.
“If you’re looking at value in the market and what we see with some of the fees in the transfer market, you would look at that for Jack Grealish and say £30m is a very good deal,” the football finance expert said.
“For everybody, it’s a good price for Everton to pay, a good player who has had flashes of very good form this season and can change a game in an instant.
“He seems to be getting on well there with the management team, and that’s always half of the battle.
“For City as well, you get a little bit back, and if it is to be that sort of figure, Everton still may say no, but I think if you look at the values, I think £30m for a player like Grealish is about right in the numbers, and you can class that as a pretty good deal all round.”
Jack Grealish by the numbers
Grealish’s red card against Wolves is the only blemish on his record with the Toffees.
After serving his suspension in the FA Cup, the England international will be available to face his former side, Aston Villa, in the Premier League next.

With two goals and six assists in the Premier League, Grealish’s creative side is flourishing once again with consistent minutes.
Only Bruno Fernandes and Rayan Cherki have more assists this season, proving that Grealish is still producing the very best, despite not having the big-name strikers to provide for.
If you asked every Everton fan right now, they would sign Grealish in a heartbeat.
