Fenerbahce braced for Youssef En-Nesyri’s Everton switch as multi-million offer made
Everton are seemingly edging closer to pulling off the winter signing of Fenerbahce’s Youssef En-Nesyri.
David Moyes wants to sign a new striker for Everton this month, with concerns over Thierno Barry and Beto still prevalent.
The Toffees’ attack has been suffering for too long this season, and Moyes will be keen on adding a number nine who knows where the back of the net is.
Everton have had a loan offer accepted for En-Nesyri in recent days, but talks are ongoing regarding the further logistics of the deal.
Other clubs are said to be interested in the forward, but Fenerbahce’s transfer activity may prove telling in the Toffees’ pursuit of En-Nesyri.

Fenerbahce table £10m offer for Youssef En-Nesyri replacement
Barry has shown signs of improvement for Everton, but questions remain over his ability to lead the Toffees’ line in a push for European football.
Beto, on the other hand, has been linked with a move away, and Moyes may feel like he’s done everything he can to get the best out of the striker.
- Beto has scored 18 goals in just under 100 games for Everton
- In comparison, En-Nesyri has scored 38 goals in 77 matches for Fenerbahce
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes on Saturday, Fenerbahce are considering the option of signing RCD Mallorca’s Vedat Muriqi as concerns grow over the future of En-Nesyri.
The Turkish side has reportedly sent an initial offer of over £10million to pry Muriqi away from Mallorca, as they seek a replacement for their goalscoring machine.
Everton may still have to pay a £3.9million loan fee to land the Moroccan, as Fenerbahce are showing signs of defeat in their attempts to keep En-Nesyri.

En-Nesyri has one major flaw that may be a problem in the Premier League
Like many other seasons in his career, En-Nesyri is consistently scoring goals once more this campaign. He now has eight goals in all competitions, including one in the Champions League.
However, the Premier League is a completely different beast, as the former Sevilla man has only ever played in Turkey and Spain.

As highlighted by Sofascore, En-Nesyri averages 6.8 touches leading up to an attempt on goal. Now, as clinical as he may be, the time that forwards get in the Premier League to shoot is a lot less.
Moyes will need to get the 28-year-old in the habit of firing shots off quickly if he is to arrive on Merseyside in the coming weeks, as England could be a shock to the talisman.
