What Youssef En-Nesyri and his agent are doing in Morocco as Everton push for deal
Everton are reinforcing their offer for Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri as he rejects a move to Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window.
The 28-year-old is currently in Morocco representing the hosts in the Africa Cup of Nations, with Walid Regragui’s team facing Senegal in the final on 18 January.
En-Nesyri is being heavily linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the Toffees being sent a counteroffer to make the buy option in their loan bid mandatory.
Callum Wilson is also on David Moyes’ radar, but it looks like the Merseyside outfit are focusing on signing the former Sevilla centre-forward right now.

Youssef En-Nesyri and agent evaluate offers amid Everton interest
En-Nesyri’s representative is evaluating the incoming offers with the striker in Morocco, according to Ertan Suzgun.
The Yeni Acik journalist revealed on 17 January that Fenerbahce have no issues parting ways with their number nine, but he has a big say in where he ends up next.
It’s been claimed that the hierarchy at the Hill Dickinson Stadium are pushing their terms on to En-Nesyri, with Napoli also interested in him.
The Moroccan star’s future will likely be resolved after the AFCON final, and it will be interesting to see whether the Blues can eventually get a deal over the line.
En-Nesyri doesn’t appear to favour a move to the Premier League, but by the looks of it, the Merseyside outfit are trying hard to convince him.
Youssef En-Nesyri transfer to have negative effect at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Thierno Barry has been unreliable under Moyes after the Toffees spent around £27million to sign him last summer.
The former Villarreal star has shown glimpses of his talent at Everton, but he’s still got a lot to learn before becoming a nailed-on starter in L4.

While the Scottish manager has persisted with the French youngster for most of the season, his game time may take a hit if the Blues sign En-Nesyri.
Barry’s development will undoubtedly be hindered if confidence isn’t shown in his abilities, and the Morocco international’s arrival could potentially make it harder for the 23-year-old to fulfil his potential in Merseyside in the coming years.
