Alan Myers reacts to ‘luxury’ Youssef En-Nesyri transfer news at Everton, would send him blue and white scarf
Everton can’t afford to have someone like Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri not committed to the cause in Merseyside.
En-Nesyri has been heavily linked with a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in January, but it remains to be seen whether the Toffees can get a deal over the line for the attacker.
Napoli have also shown interest in the Morocco international who lost the Africa Cup of Nations final to Senegal, and the Super Lig club are open to his exit in the coming weeks.
Thierno Barry is slowly starting to prove his worth under David Moyes, but there’s still an evident lack of options for the Scottish manager up front.

Everton should snub Youssef En-Nesyri deal
En-Nesyri may not have the necessary character to sign for the Toffees in January, Alan Myers says.
The former Sky Sports journalist believes that rumours that the Moroccan national doesn’t want to move to the Premier League because of the UK’s cold weather are discouraging.
With the 28-year-old apparently not committed to the cause at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, it would be a “luxury” for the Blues to sign him.
Writing in Everton.News on 19 January, Myers said, “There’s interest in the Fenerbahce striker En-Nesyri, but if all of the reports of him not wanting to play in England because of the cold weather, then I’d be sending him a blue and white scarf and telling him to enjoy his time in Italy, which seems to be his preferred destination.”

I think the club has seen more than its fair share of those types of players for too long now.”
While speculation has grown at the Merseyside outfit in recent days, it doesn’t appear that En-Nesyri is a serious target for Moyes, which says everything about the possible transfer.
David Moyes has clear short-term January solution for striker woes
Callum Wilson is in talks to terminate his contract at West Ham United, and the Toffees have emerged as a possible option for him.
Nuno Espirito Santo doesn’t seem to have faith in the England international, who has started just eight games in the Premier League this season, and he may be able to bring value to Everton.

The 33-year-old scored a late winner for the Hammers against Tottenham away from home on 17 January, securing three valuable points for the relegation contenders.
If Wilson does end up leaving the London Stadium, it would certainly be a no-brainer for the Merseyside outfit to sign him as a short-term cover for Beto and Barry until the end of the season.
