Jack Grealish sent to specialist for assessment, Everton to fear for the worst after new update
Everton are waiting to learn the fate of a foot injury to Jack Grealish.
The Englishman has been excellent for the Toffees this season, prompting hopes of Everton landing Grealish on a permanent deal in the summer.
He had been suspended recently, much to the disappointment of David Moyes, but did well as Everton secured victory against Aston Villa last time around.
James Garner was the man of the match against Villa and helped the Blues take three points away from the attacking midfielder’s former home.
Grealish has now been dealt an injury blow, but has been afforded time away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium to learn the extent of his problem.

Jack Grealish set for lengthy injury setback at Everton
Everton want Grealish permanently from Manchester City, but conversations may take a difficult turn in the coming weeks or months.
The 30-year-old has sustained a foot injury, with the Toffees confirming the news via their own social media on Tuesday.
Their statement revealed that the number 18 is set to meet a specialist in the coming days and is currently under the supervision of Everton’s medical team.
There was still some sort of hope among supporters that it wouldn’t be all doom and gloom for the Man City loanee, but it seems to have gone the otherway.
David Ornstein has delivered a dagger to the Toffees after the Merseyside outfit’s post to offer a timeframe on an injury recovery.
The transfer specialist has reported that Grealish could “miss months rather than weeks”, with the problem described as a “major blow”.
Everton will now await a prognosis from the specialist before announcing further updates via their own channels in the coming days and weeks.
Who could replace Jack Grealish at Everton?
The Toffees may be in desperate need of a new winger in January if they are to be without Grealish for a lengthy period of time.
Moyes has gotten alot out of the Englishman this season and is unlikely to get a positive tune out of anyone else within the squad to a similar level.
Tyler Dibling and Merlin Rohl could hit those heights in the future, but right now aren’t going to be the answer for the Blues.

A late January swoop away from L4 may be required to fill the void, with Championship starts like Mikey Johnston or Jaden Philogene potentially representing good options for Everton.
It will be interesting to see how the Toffees assess the situation and what they decide to do before transfer deadline day arrives.
