Arsenal make Premier League request to move Everton fixture as ex-shareholder reveals all
Everton fans could be hit with a late fixture change when they travel down to North London to face Arsenal in March.
When it comes to being on the road, the Toffees have been performing better than when playing at home in the Premier League.
David Moyes’ side have struggled to get results over the line at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but their away form has left them in a good position for European qualification.
Everton are currently projected for UEFA Conference League qualification, pointing to the great work Moyes is doing.
Moyes’ points tally is Everton’s best in five years, and he will be eyeing this tricky tie against Arsenal as another game to get a good result.

Arsenal request Everton fixture date and time change
Everton are currently set to take on Arsenal on Sunday, 15 March, with a scheduled kick-off time of 2 pm. This game has already been moved for TV, with Sky Sports broadcasting the game.
However, the time and date of the fixture could be set to change once again.
According to a former Arsenal shareholder, Darren on X, who has over 100,000 followers, including the likes of Ian Wright, the London club are seeking to switch the game to Saturday.
The Gunners want their Champions League round of 16 second-leg game to take place on 17 March, as that would give them an extra day to prepare for the Carabao Cup final on 22 March.
Arsenal’s proposed change is for the Everton clash to move to Saturday, 14 March, at 8 pm.
No matter the game time, Moyes will be seeking revenge against the Gunners. Everton were only beaten by a penalty in the reverse fixture, as Jake O’Brien was penalised for handball.
Everton fans should not be punished
Hypothetically, if the fixture change is announced at the earliest possible time, that would only leave Everton fans with four weeks’ notice.
Right now, a 2 pm kick-off on Sunday will leave the travelling Toffees plenty of time to seek transport back to Merseyside.
However, if changed to a late Saturday, Everton fans will be the ones who feel the brunt of the rescheduling.
- Currently, the last train from London to Liverpool on 14 March is at 9.42 pm
- With an 8 pm kick-off, the earliest the match could end is 9.45 pm
This would mean Everton fans would have no trains available to return home on. Fans must simply be taken into account in this situation before any of Arsenal’s requests are approved.
But this is the Premier League, and we have seen this nonsense far too many times before.
