Tyler Dibling to clear out Everton locker if Tyrique George starts again – Here’s why
Tyler Dibling will be wondering what Tyrique George has done to warrant a place in the Everton starting lineup.
While the former Southampton youngster spent his second consecutive game on the bench against Bournemouth at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 10 February, the Chelsea loanee was handed his full debut for the Toffees.
George moved to the Merseyside outfit in the final hours of the winter transfer window on loan, with the deal including an option to buy the 20-year-old forward at the end of the season.
As for Dibling, The Friedkin Group made a significant investment to sign him from the Saints last summer, but it’s safe to say that the transfer hasn’t worked out so far.
Tyrique George has stinker in Everton loss vs Bournemouth
George started on the left-wing for the Toffees in the 2-1 loss to Bournemouth and had a nightmare of a game.
The Chelsea loanee looked all over the place as the Cherries came back from a goal down to seal the three points at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It was surprising to see the England Under-21 international last about an hour in the defeat as he was unable to make an impact, both offensively and defensively.
As seen in the youngster’s Sofascore graphic below, the forward was poor on the ball and lost it on several occasions, and he was also nowhere to be seen when it came to helping his teammates out of possession.

While Dibling hasn’t been at his best this season, there’s no reason for George to start over him in the upcoming fixtures.
If Moyes continues to snub the former Southampton attacker for the Chelsea loanee, the 19-year-old should just clear out his locker and look for a move elsewhere.
David Moyes has every right to curse at Friedkin Group after what’s happened
Moyes would have arguably wanted much more investment in the Toffees squad over the last two transfer windows.
The Scottish manager is clearly affected by the lack of quality in depth at Everton, and it has come to the fore in recent weeks.

With Jack Grealish now sidelined for a considerable period, Harrison Armstrong, who was recalled from his Preston North End loan in January, seems to be the only reliable solution in the midfield.
Thierno Barry and Beto have also failed to consistently find the back of the net for the Merseyside outfit, and the lack of a reliable goalscorer in L4 is affecting their chances of getting a European finish in the Premier League.
