Everton have Harrison Armstrong blueprint for Isaac Heath after latest transfer news

Harrison Armstrong has become a surprising addition at Everton as David Moyes looks to make a push in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old returned to Hill Dickinson Stadium in the winter transfer window after his loan spell with Preston North End was cut short, and the midfielder has since played in every league match for the Toffees.

It’s clear that the young Englishman is seen as a pivotal part of the Scottish manager’s plans to finish in a European position this season.

Isaac Heath, currently on loan at Accrington Stanley, may be on the same path, with a move to the Championship possibly on the cards in the summer.

Huddersfield interest in Isaac Heath encouraging for Everton

Heath is being linked with a move to Huddersfield, who are fighting for promotion to the Championship.

It’s been reported that Lian Manning’s team are already putting plans in place to sign the 21-year-old, who’s having a brilliant campaign in League One.

The English winger has made 25 appearances for Accrington Stanley in the league this season, primarily as a left-midfielder, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

Heath will surely return to Hill Dickinson Stadium with momentum on his side, and it will be interesting to see what plans the Toffees have in place for him.

Armstrong’s loan move to Derby County last season is when he started to showcase his talent, and at PNE, the midfielder only solidified that he’s ready to take the next step at the Blues.

If Heath can continue his development at a Championship outfit in the coming months, the attacker may have a place in the squad at the Merseyside outfit sooner rather than later.

David Moyes snub leaves questions to answer for Friedkin Group

Moyes has shown he isn’t afraid to rely on young players at the Toffees and give them an opportunity.

Armstrong is an example of the Scottish manager’s reliance on youth, with Thierno Barry also playing a key role for Everton this season.

Tyrique George has also come into the team straight away after his loan move to Hill Dickinson Stadium, but despite Moyes’ faith in prospects, Tyler Dibling’s treatment in L4 has raised eyebrows.

The Friedkin Group may have made a mistake by making a significant investment in the former Southampton forward, who clearly isn’t trusted by the 62-year-old head coach.
