When can Everton fans expect Braiden Graham breakthrough after Finch Farm exploits?

Everton fans may not have to wait much longer to see Braiden Graham in first-team action.

The Toffees have had multiple stars come through the ranks at Finch Farm over the years, with Jarrad Branthwaite and Harrison Armstrong both playing a part for David Moyes this season.

But perhaps the most talked about youngster in Everton‘s academy right now is Graham, who continues to do no wrong for the U21s.

The left-winger is highly rated internally, and figures will be keen not to rush the young forward into senior level too quickly.

Although it may still take another season for the 18-year-old to make his professional debut for the Blues, his performance at Finch Farm proves an exciting truth for fans.

Braiden Graham keeps showing he is the real deal for Everton

Although Everton supporters want to see Graham feature and make an impact from the bench for Moyes, his Hill Dickinson Stadium debut will not be rushed.

However, his debut is closer than people think, as the club would not allow the teenager to leave Finch Farm on loan in the winter market.

That may be because Moyes wants him around first-team training to get him used to his future teammates and the pace required to play in the Premier League.

Everton’s U21s drew 2-2 with Burnley’s U21s on Monday in the Premier League 2, as Graham scored arguably his best goal of the season.

The Northern Irishman’s drop of a shoulder and curling effort highlighted what he will soon bring to Moyes’ side, as his development looks set to continue at Finch Farm.

Who else is expected to make Everton breakthrough?

George Pickford has been making waves in Everton’s U21s team, with many eager to see what the goalkeeper can offer the Blues in the future.

Though not related, Jordan Pickford can provide a perfect role model for him to shadow in first-team training, as a professional debut for the Toffees is surely just around the corner.

Everton U21s Premier League 2 league record this season

Callum Bates grabbed an assist against Burnley’s U21s and has been a regular starter in Paul Trait’s team alongside Graham this season.

The defensive midfielder is similar to Armstrong in the way he can win the ball back and get his side moving up the pitch.

But there is plenty of talent at Finch Farm, though Graham is currently proving to be Everton’s hottest prospect right now.
